I predict that Bush will stick with his personal tradition, and on Monday he will make an announcement to:
#1 Promote a plan that will hurt black people, while at the same time glorifying the "great strides" we have made as a country. He will probably say something about the Tuskegee Airmen who paved the way for us to send young black men off to die in our wars.
He will segue Item #2 by re-affirming the military don't ask don't tell (and fire the gay Arabic language translators)policy and then he will...
#2 Call for tolerance of homosexuals while at the same time stressing that they are trying to destroy western civilization through their terrible desire to form life-long commitments to one another.
#4 He will talk about Dr. King in a particularly religious context and draw a subtle comparison between himself and Dr. King. If he is feeling particularly presidential, he will talk about how Dr. King's daughter is against gay marriage, but he will neglect to say that Dr. King's widow is in favor of gay marriage.
#3 He will talk about how important unity is, and how united we are under his man-date.
#4 There will be some bible verse. I give 3 to 1 it's old testament. If he's completely off the deep end and willing to dump any pretensions he had left, he will quote from Revelations and draw a parallel to his presidency.
#4 Something about freedom, evil-doers, Iraq is better-off, preserve marriage.. yadda yadda freedom... safer... uniter... mandate... blah blah ...
#4 God bless America.
