I propose a new game here at DU - Catastrophic Bingo

Don't have all the rules down, certainly don't have the prizes or even the objective of the game but listening to Frist on ABC this morning using the word catastrophe or catastrophic for each and every talking point was too funny. This is the new repug buzz word that they insert into every conversation. They have moved on from "terror" (and various forms of the word) to scare the begeebers out of the public. Frist used it for at least four different talking points and used the word to impress how serious every point in the repug playbook is so that their agenda can sail through on the rhetoric of the BushyBots.

We need to keep track of how many different subjects are now catastrophic to King George.

jobs program? catastrophic ... the impact on families when one or both earners can't find work ...

Sudan? dying by the millions ... catastrophic ...

aids? catastrophic ...

dismantling critical government programs? catastrophic !!

gutting Constitutional protections? catastrophic !!

the fault is not with the term itself but with its application ...

3. This is a golden opportunity

We need to morph the Administration's use of "catastrophe" into "the catastrophic administration." And there's the added benefit of it being true--this is the most catastrophic administration in the country's history.
