More red state values
According to an article in a Mississippi newspaper today, law enforcement authorities and insurance executives state that up to 2/3rds of licensed driver's in the state are not insured. Is this total disregard for fellow motorists a conservative value? Do conservative values result in giving more "charitable" tax exempt money to "religion" thus leaving you less money to pay your legal responsibility to society? Is the conservative philosophy in red states, we don't need no stinking insurance, our driving is faith based? I'm inundated with propaganda about how conservatives are chock full of "values" and yet every time I am exposed to facts, the propaganda is diminished. Please would some conservative set me straight. That's what you've been trained to do, right?

gambling?

I mean you are putting money down for an accident that has yet to happen, in the hopes of being able to cash out if it does. I think they may see it as against the bible...

but im not a christian, fundy, or red-stater, so what do I know?

2. The are having to chose between insurance and gasoline.
The per capita income in Mississippi is very low. Yet, a majority of the poor white people voted for Bush. How can that happen you ask?
Simple. Mind control. The "mind masters" have learned how to disable people's normal thought processes, placing them into an almost zombie like state of mind, awaiting their next piece of information and instructions from their "masters".

The manipulators are in charge of all the churches, TV, radio, congress, supreme court, military and the White House. In case you haven't noticed, that's total control.

4. I live in Mississippi
I know of what you talk. I see and witness the mind control every day. That does not excuse a total disregard for your fellow citizens. These same yahoos who bitch and moan about tax and spend liberals get more back in federal dollars then they give. I guess we just don't hold conservatives responsible for their actions. After all it starts in the White House.

8. I'm from Mississippi. I recently attended the 50th class reunion
of my high school class. I hadn't seen most of my childhood friends in many years. It was sad to observe that they had be turned into zombies somehow. They were they same good people I had grown with but their political views were unbelievable. During the anti-French movement prior to the Iraq invasion, they were sending out petitions to sign stating that you would boycott French wine and products.

I tried to explain to them that France had been our Allie for hundreds of years would continue to be at our side unless we totally
alienate them. Their response to my advice was not good.

3. It's about personal accountability
You're supposed to be responsible for fixing your own vehicle without a hand-out from some insurance company.

If you can't avoid being hit by a drunk driver, then you have no business driving.

And then there's all those lawyers and such. Just because some drunk kills your family is no reason to go running to a lawyer to sue for money. That's just un-American liberal crap.

Your husband is killed by a drunk driver? Exercise some good ol' Republican self-sufficiency, stay at home to take care of your children, and don't go on welfare or take other government hand-outs.

Yeee-hah!

6. Maybe thats why my insurance rates are so high in Florida
When I moved down from Cleveland a couple of years ago, my premiums DOUBLED over what I paid in Ohio. Thats 3 vehicles- a Pickup, a car and a Harley.

Homeowners, I can understand, as we have a separate hurricane part.

7. The government says I have to have insurance
and since the government is bad and trying to run my life, I'll show them and not get insurance. They won't get away with telling me what I can and cannot do, and what I have to spend my hard-earned money on. Besides, I'm the best driver in the world, and if (when) I get in an accident and someone is injured or property destroyed, it certainly won't be my fault. If I get sued over the accident, that proves that the legal system is crooked and all lawyers are scum, (because nothing is my fault), and the lawyers are just out to make a buck. Damn government and lawyers! That's why we need to put an end to "frivolous lawsuits". (mouth-breathing ended). What a sorry lot.
