Bush is a war criminal, so I guess according to Senator Dodd's logic he ought to have a war criminal to represent him as his PNAC stooge.

5. Sadly, after his questioning Condi re torture and her non-response... |
|
he doesn't seem to mind sending the message that it's okay the person representing the US to the world finds torture okay and lies through her teeth. Not good!

|
her = she was very specific she agreed with torture and ignoring the geneva conventions - this is a problem for us - the world I hope starts seeing this - because our senators are not willing to help us be a democracy with moral values - torture is not a moral value

I edited it for accuracy.
If Dems distance themselves from Catholics, they'll be giving up a natural voter base and a whole lot of people. I'm hoping that's not happening.

13. Maybe the Church is distancing itself from the reality |

of people's lives.
Sorry, I was born into the Catholic faith but I do not advocate the man made doctrine of the patriarchy.

12. What does he think this capitulation purchases? |
|
It will fit into yet another vainglorious floor speech. "She had my support and look what she did with it" -after the INEVITABLE ensuing screw-ups.
They knew Ashcroft was a loon when they confirmed him. What is the motivation? They get nothing for it (for US, which should be their consideration!)
Why not a simple, congenial 'My vote in this is inconsequential and superfluous. Godspeed to you' and vote NO?
