What country is next on the 'Bush Doctrine' invasion list?

In his second inaugural address, Dubya advocated "the expansion of freedom in all the world" and promised US help. Bush and his new Secretary of State already are making threatening noises about IRAN and VENEZUELA.

How is the Rethuglican White House prioritizing countries lacking in "freedom" and needing invasion? I think the following list explains all:

on the oil reserves list, ahead of Indonesia, Brazil, and other countries widely thought to have substantial oil.

IMO you don't need to worry about a US MILITARY invasion. There are too many Mexican-American US voters for that. Now a US ECONOMIC invasion is likely another story altogether.

16. Mexico's oil is a national oil holding

and it has long been the desire of the usa..and more pressingly in the past four years by bush..for Mexico to privatize the oil..but Mexico is strongly apposed to ever doing that..since then it goes into the control quickly to the USA. President Fox has held strong to that principal of keeping the Mexican oil national, and this really is the bargain chip that bush uses when ever they talk about immigration reform...but Fox will never back down on this issue. Fox's term runs out in 2006...and that is the main concern...that the USA will covertly intervene to promote some more "agreeable" new president for Mexico. It is my belief that Mexico's stand will never change, but Mexico does not have its own..at least enough of its own refinerys...and with peak oil concerns..more will not be built..so at present, Mexico sells oil cheaply to the usa..where it is refined..and then sold back to the national Mexican oil (Pemex)..now Mexico is talking to china and to japan, as well...so, perhaps there will be a new customer for Mexican oil in a short time.

Mexicans are very active politically at even the local level..and most news is local. A president here is elected for only one term and that term is for six years. Many parties are are available for choice in the presidental election...and candidate reps are active locally..and it is more clear on what each represents..so people are much more aware of who stands for what when they vote. Voting is a big, big deal in Mexico.

For one thing, we already have a glut of sugar from domestic sources. And, if Iraq can give the US such a hard time after twenty years of demilitarization, Cuba would be a military nightmare. They already showed what they could do to US invaders in 1962.

I'd think Venezuela would be next -- there already might be a large force of US spies there, paving the way for invasion.

It would be one thing if, say, Iran tried to ship some nukes to a known terrorist group, or let fly with nuclear fire against somebody, then my pacifism is tested (except in the second case, fuck 'em). But they haven't, and if we just decide to pre-emptively invade, it's the big 3.
