Bush's term will be over in four years, and we will be better off without him.

The question is actually a stupid one as people usually think they will generaly get better as time goes on. That's simply being optimistic. The same question was asked in a poll in Iraq. When most Iraqis said they were better of now at the end of 2003 or so, I couldn't believe how the media spun it! It was spun as a justification for the war! Headlines: "Iraqis are better off after invasion" The point is the sanctions were lifted which would make things better straight away. The funny thing is, that poll was before the big problems of 2004 and the numbers probably went backwards...
