In her otherwise excellent speech, he just said "we need to win this war." Does she really still think it is possible to win? If so, how? Does anyone know of any recent statements she has made on this question?

She has to say that for the same reason that even the most liberal senators said Bush and Rice were misguided but not evil for engineering the invasion and occupation of Iraq...

and I doubt very much Democratic congresspeople consider Rice and Bush evil. Those sort of notions don't do much to advance political debate. Bush, and the way his speeches and policies are interpreted abroad, exemplifies the dangers inherent in using such divisive language.
