Remember how desperate administration supporters were to believe we had found the mythical WMD right after the invasion? Every insecticide-mixing trailer, every weather balloon manufactory, thirty-year-old buried gas masks from the Iran-Iraq war -------- it was a constant cry of, "WMD! WMD!! We've found it, we've found it!!!"

Until finally they had to give up.

That's what will happen Sunday, I think. The Pentagon's Office of Strategic Disinformation will put out all sorts of pre-written nonsense about how high the turnout is, how low the attacks, how happy everyone is to get to vote, how successful the "liberation" was.

It will all be total nonsense, and repeated in the State of the Union speech.

About two to four months later, we'll finally piece together what really happened.

It's been almost 3 months since our own stolen election & many of the Dems I know are no longer interested in politics, didn't care about or follow the election fraud issues & I wonder how involved they will be come 2006 & 2008. I'm sorry to say that most of the Dems I know expressed no concern about yesterday's RawStory article on elector tampering. I've sent it to everyone on my list & have not gotten one response.

I doubt seriously that many journalists are going to crawl out of their bunkers in the green zone to find out if a few Iraqis were brave enough to vote in an almost certainly fixed election. I am sure most will be very, very, very, very happy to accept whatever they are told happened as fact. Rummie's new, secret DOD controlled intelligence agency will probably have operatives that will truck in a bunch of locals for interviews in the green zone, pass out a few "fact" sheets about turnout and America will get a fresh, piping hot pile of shit masquerading as news in between ads for hard-on drugs.

When elections started in El Salvador, no one thought people would risk their lives to vote. But alot of us did. We understood it was a small step but it was definitely in the right direction. I don't think many people ever regretted it.
