Would Dean go third party?
Hypothetical question, if Dean lost the nomination, would he and his supporters run on a third platform? My RW friend mentioned he'd heard "rumblings" about this and while I don't give him any credance, it made me think.

1. Not if he is sincere in his condemnation of Bush...
because a third party would not win and would jeopardize any chance of a Democratic win.

If for some reason he decided to go third party, then every condemnation he has made of Bush will ring hollow.

2. The only "rumblings" your friend heard
were the rumblings of his stomach.

6. I doubt it
I give him the benefit of understanding the electoral college enough to think that he wouldn't assume he could actually pull it off.

10. "rumblings"
muybe from some supporters, but I doubt from the Dean campaign or Dean. He said he's support the nominee and I believe him.
