Dean Supporters Only - Day2 - Positive Threads Only
Edited on Wed Jan-21-04 10:14 AM by Skinner
A message to all Dean DU'ers.

Do NOT reply to any Dean negative threads....don't touch them....let the bashers go on their own...and you will see the "bashers" lose steam. DO NO POST. They are egging you on.

Do not "stick up for Dean" by replying to "what will Dean do"? Forget them...let the bashers have their thread fall apart.

WE control the thread choices...which are issues.

DO NOT engage in "negative Dean threads"...that is "their plan".

Let others do what they choose....Dr. Dean would be proud of you and your support. Change starts with us.

When you don't give negativity "energy" ...it goes away. Think about it.

1. Part of the anti-Dean "strategery" on DU is to...
...post tons of absurd questions ("Will Dean go Green?" "Is Dean Going to Hell?" "Is Dean from Mars?" etc.) designed to create flame wars and disrupt any kind of trust in the guy that brought us all here.

I'm trying to keep off such threads, and really begging the mods to finally take some action on our behalf.

2. it sure is....it's like the media approach -- forget issues....
issues will beat this president...issues and experience will convince people...Dean has the experience and he's delivered.

let the silly attack based threads die...let them flame away.

3. I joined a few Dean forums last night
But I did not post - anybody have any favorites? I would like to discuss some issues with other Dean supporters - I have one idea that would create jobs and help the energy issue and the environment.

4. Great Idea. I've been hiding in the lounge for the last few months
only peeking out occasionally and then running back in to safety. I heard the good doctor on CSpan last night and he sounded like he was getting a cold. It's gotta be a drain on all of them. It sure has been on me.

5. there's nothing wrong in discussing issues -- we all want a candidate that
can offer good solutions

I don't see how yo get that by discussing:

- media taunting stories
- I've change from so and so (negative dean)

I'm sure some people on this thread are only here to be against Dean and his success as a gov and issues.

No diff. then "3rd grade" journalism....who cares.

13. The difference between discussing the issues
and what's going on right now is the FACT that this "Dean is crazy" is BS spin and obviously not true. Everyone knows that Dean isn't crazy. They're just getting off on saying it. They're having fun with it. And, you're right: they're just trying to get our goat.

We need to do exactly what Paragon's said: ignore the garbage, focus on the issues.

22. Can anyone enlighten me
on how those posts such as "Dean is drunk", "acts like he's on crack", acts like he's on crystal meth" are allowed to remain? :puke:

7. Remeber to ignore the ones who also post
in this thread, just to prove our point...

I signed up on a different Dean Forum, myself, and it's a breath of fresh air, not having all the trolls to deal with.

8. I will be with Dean until
he either goes to the White house/his house. I have become thoroughly convinced that the Dean bashers are either repub infiltrators or repub enablers or both don't deserve any comment. Let them support/destroy their chosen candidate. Arguing with ignorant people only reduce you to their level.

9. at this point it doesn't matter....look at the issue threads....they don't
touch them...

We need a debate on the issues...we need somebody who can affect change...period.

17. Whatever they are-
the effect is to throw cold water on a good chunk of the tsunami of enthusiasm and activism that will be our very best weapon against BushCo come November.

Undeniably destructive.

10. As I said, report to the Mods flame threads or offensive posts about Dean
Including when the message implies Dean supporters are idiots or stuff like that.

21. Dean is the best candidate: was last week and is today.
He's the choice of all my friends. People in their 20's. We'll vote against Bush, yes; but, I strongly believe that Dean will rebuild the Democratic Party into something that Democrats are PROUD of! We need ideological and political clarity, like the evil party has. Dean can provide this. It isn't time for prevaricating or pseudo-"thoughfulness" that equates to passivity. It's time to fight on a firm moral basis against a great threat to this nation. I will do my part so that Dean will win CA's winner-take-all primary on 3-2.
