Kerry won Wisconsin by about 1/2 of a point. Feingold won re-election to the senate by about 10 points. If you would like I can give you an analysis of why I think that Russ would be a stellar presidential candidate.

And as far as Boxer goes, I won't even argue that because people don't vote for the VP.

it seems to me that a Congressional candidate is DOA. Clinton did it to Dole and Bush did it to Kerry. History says it's a bad idea. Might be able to squeak a VP through, but legislative history has too many compromises.

I'd look for a Governor, perhaps from a Southern state, or someone who has been out of government for some time. Maybe a mayor of a really big city.

It's premature, to say the least.

What we need to do NOW is to agitate for election reform, to rid ourselves of easily hacked electronic voting forever.

What we need to do NOW is to make sure the DLC is thrown out of power within the party, along with their idiotic platform and those dreadful lobbyist/handlers that have ruined so many political careers.

If we don't accomplish these two things, we could run a George Washington and lose.
