Even if they are all over the media and in every private conversation people are having, we at DU should pretend they are not happening. By avoiding real political discourse with each other in an intramural partisan setting, we can more easily pretrend Dean's campaign pitfalls are not really occuring. Yeah, that's the ticket!

why the Dean supporters feel so singled out. As a Clark fan, I've seen a thousand attacks against my guy that are unfair. Most of them have come from Dean supporters.

Do you really think Dean should be immune to criticism? Why are Dean people leaving, as you assert? I haven't heard of any Clark people leaving DU because of opposition.

I really feel that a lot of Dean people think Dean DESERVES the nomination, and get offended when we challenge that idea.

Nobody has earned the nomination yet. Why are the Dean people so put out?

Of course, you're doing it be telling people their candidate sucks and is dead, rather than on the issues (at least in this particular thread).

Suggest that the anti-war message is a dead end, or the tax cut repeal, or that he just doesn't come accross well on TV.

I would disagree with any of those assertions.

But "your candidate's dead, you better jump before the suction takes you under" is a poor caucus argument.
