It will be like 9/11. Bush invoked it during his campaign and whenever his polls were down. It'll be the same with Iraq and "democracy." :eyes: Remember after 9/11 the week after his raitings were at 90%? I wonder how long it'll last.

Personally, I would predict that with FAUX and an intimidated/paid off "media" serving this particular Kool-Aid from a bottomless pitcher for the next four years, we can look for Shrub & Co. to gain more mileage out of "Freedom & Democracy in Iraq" than they even got out of "September the 11th."

Not to minimize the experience for the Iraqi people today -- but when I think of the things happening there that the American media is NOT covering, it brings me back into the "reality-based community" and in the real world, this "election," which has no way of being independently verified, is as big a sham as ours was.
