I noticed a big spike in my site traffice this morning, and tracked much of it back to
Tim Blair's blog. Whomever the hell he is, but he obviously gets a lot of readers, and I've seen his name metioned here before.
Well, in regard to my latest cartoon regarding the Iraq Election, Blair rails on against the "Silence of the Left." Specifically, about my cartoon, he states:
"Don’t ever give up your dream, little guy! Another happy fellow finds artistic inspiration in the murder of Iraqi voters; tee hee! Guy got blowed up!" (hotlinked as he wrote it).
It never ceases to amaze when I see people so clearly devoid of understanding of an issue. Does this Tim Blair guy honestly think the message of this cartoon had
anything to do with
"Tee hee, guy got blowed up?" Is that schtick for your readers, Tim, or are you really that vacuous and ignorant?
And judging from the hate mail I've already received this morning, your readers' understanding -- or sense of humor, or irony -- is not any further evolved! Thanks for the hits, though! So far it looks like its gonna be a record day.
