Now they're talking about freedom on the march in Iraq and flashing quotes from Chimp's speech yesterday.

The corporate media is a complete disgrace. It gets worse every day. What's worse is that many people are fooled by it.

We're completely out of power. The GOP rules like a dictatorship - it's a tyranny of the 51% lording it over the other 49%. Democratic theorists long noted this contradiction in democracy - the way it could lead to a tyranny of the majority. Of course, I'm not advocating dictatorship - I'm fully a democrat and democracy is easily the best form of government. But like any system, it can be abused. Right now it's being abused. And we're unfortunately the minority "half".

Essentially they're correct. When it comes to drafting legislation or passing bills, Democrats do not matter at all in the current climate.

Judy Woodruff brought that up in context of the exit strategy, because it doesn't have anything to do with congress. They even talked for a little about how when it comes to domestic issues, the Dems still have some power because they need 60 votes to get anything through the senate, but when it comes to Iraq the Democrats really have no say.

And its true. People here need to learn to understand the differnece between reporting an unpleasant truth and real bias.
