my book. This would be a second vote that I would like and be surprised by him, after the no vote for Condi. Bayh could show me something if he does it again. I might have to give him a fresh look for 2008 if he continues in this vein.
Go Bayh!

1. I am not real fond of him, but I live in Indiana ... |
|
Indiana almost a complete right wing state. 7 of 9 congressmen are GOP. The state government is controlled by the GOP and now the governorship once again. Being GOP light in Indiana is usually not good enough. If you have a (D) by your name you usually lose real quick.
Bayh is only a Democrat because of his dad.

2. Hi, indianablue. Bayh's vote against Rice really did - |
|
-- a number on me. I'm on life support from the shock alone.
If he votes against Gonzales, it will finish me off.

7. I doubt Bayh could pull Indiana if he was VP... |
|
If he was Presidential nominee it is possible but Indiana is a total right wing state when it comes to voting for president. It hasn't voted Democratic for President since Lydon Johnson.

9. Hi, WI_Dem. Yes. Either of those would be an -- |
|
-- interesting challenge on the GOP demographic stronghold.
We really do have to pick up two or three of the red states. I think those two tickets would hold the blue states (including the ones Bush cheated in the 04 felony election fraud!).

3. It will certainly help him in my eyes |
|
It won't make me a fan, but it will make me feel better about him. I was very surprised and pleased with the Rice vote and would love to be pleasantly surprised again.

8. I think a lot more will vote against Gonzales than voted against Rice, |
|
who is after all a woman (double race card), so it's entirely possible.
