3. A lot of dim non seeing vision less people!!
It is so sad that our citizens are not realizing that they are living in a time where we are not building security but actually tearing down all of the systems that have made us so great. Before to long we as citizens will have nothing just as the wealthy want so that they can control us even more!!!

4. So Very True Pam, don't know if this rationalization is correct or

not but I see a true democracy only being able to work if there is shared wealth, shared power and freedom of the press to keep all informed. By shared wealth I mean good jobs for all, fair taxes for all. Good public education which is going by the wayside every year. College costs is shutting out the poor and minorities and you cannot have the populace controlled by corporations and big media. This appears to be what is happening here.

7. Don't blame the viewers. If the media showed it, they would watch.
People just aren't exposed to ideas that clash with the propaganda on mainstream television very often.

I don't believe it is those people's fault, but ultimately they are to blame for their own ignorance at some point.

Blame the networks, though, not the people who watch them.

6. Does this mean the networks . . . ?
Does this mean that rather than accept "controversial issue" advertising, the networks will host programs in which both sides of the issue are fairly and competently represented, with able spokespersons given ample time and space to make their case, with informed commentary determining what the facts are and their proper application to the issue?

Or does it just mean that the networks are in hopeless thrall to the prevailing winds out of Washington, unable to perform their duties as stewards of the public airwaves?
