They are almost doing a mini filibuster praising Gonzales. I have never seen anything like this! It is as if they are preventing the Dems from speaking! Did we pick up some Reugs against Gonzales or something? Could the nomination be in jeopardy?

ethnicity as if it alone is reason enough to confirm him. Very cynical. Just like they did with Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice.

It doesn't matter if they showed bad judgment or incompetence, the Republicans only WANT them because it makes them FEEL like their party isn't the party of bigots, so they get some rubber stamps of other colors. But, a rubber stamp is a rubber stamp, no matter what color.

Apparently they have nothing else to say about Gonzales. It is kind of insulting if true.
It seems that they do need to buy some time to gird against what seems to be a full blown filibuster, as mentioned above. I can't say I am disappointed.
