1. For being a pompous douche bag?
I've been waiting for him to apologize for that for a while now.

2. Just googled this:
News Advisory:

Sen. George Allen (R-Va.), Janet Langhart Cohen, author and journalist, and James Allen, author of "Without Sanctuary: Lynching Photographs in America", will hold a "Morning Newsmaker" News Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the National Press Club, National Press Building (13th Floor), 14th & F Streets NW, Washington, D.C.

Sen. George Allen, Janet Langhart Cohen and James Allen will discuss A Senate Apology for Failing to Pass Anti-Lynching Laws.

On the first day of Black History Month, Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) will introduce a Senate resolution apologizing for the Senate's filibustering of House-passed anti-lynching laws in the 20th century. Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) will join in offering the resolution. This will be the first time Congress has apologized to African-Americans for past atrocities.

8. But let me guess ...
... he is in favor of confirming the torture-supporting atty gen nominee? At least the atty gen nominee didn't endorse lynching, I suppose.

13. Yes, he was. That God for VA's one term, you're out.
What is bunnypants? Mike Malloy uses it all the time and I still haven't figured it out from context. Clearly, it's not flattering.

9. More Republican Hyprocrisy in action.
Just read over at kos that Mr. Allen had the confederate flag and a noose in his law office. Says it was just "decoration"......if true, he's hardly the right person to be acting as the conscience of the Senate.

14. Sen. Allen who liked to display his Confederate flag & hangman's noose?
Allen once kept a Confederate flag in his home in Albemarle County, and he displayed a hangman's noose in his law office, an emblem of his tough views on law and order — as well as a symbol deeply offensive to many blacks.
