2. Yes, thanks. I quoted from it in a front-page article on SSI

that I wrote for our local paper, the East County Californian.

Specifically, the part about not using the word privatization, because "it connotes the total corporate takeover of Social Security."

After which, I mentioned that our Rethug Congressman supports privatization. I hope he gets a lot of calls from the working class readers he plans to screw over.

3. this administration is so pathetic

and you know people are buying into this bullshit. yesterday i saw a friend of mine and she is 40 and she just comes out with "now i have to worry that SS isn't going to be there when i am old".

i was like what the hell are you talking about? her husband is a NYC cop and staunch bush supporter. She voted for Kerry, she is my friend she better vote democrat. but she isn't into politics. so her husband comes home with the "post" god help me. and says they are going to be broke in 20 years. lol

i told her NO they are lying. stop dont listen. have you learned nothing from being my friend? bush is a liar. just like he lied about wmds he is living about this.

you have a private account. your husband is a cop - you will get your SS. you will get your freaking pension.

if there is a real problem he can raise the cap to 200,000 from 87,000 or he can say millionaires dont get ssi. there is solved it. now dont worry.

but do you see how smart people can be fooled and made to worry? ugh. i expect it from her husband the sheep but not her.

and she was saying "but look at all the people on disability, she works in a Dr's. office. i explained that thats how the system is set up to work.

also i saw on c-span that the government was telling career employees of SS to promote privatization over the phone and was enclosing information in the monthly ssi checks that the program not be solvent by 2014. 2 whistle blowers came forward. its nuts.
