The National Debt as expressed in time |
|
My brother said he just heard this somewhere, and I checked it out with a calculator.
A million seconds ago: A little over eleven days ago.
A billion seconds ago: Around 1968.
A trillion seconds ago: Around 30 B.C.
Shouldn't we start paying on the $7 trillion?

1. I like it -but Bush said he did not pass problems onto the next generation |
|
I wonder if the media is smart enough to know how stupid that line is given our National Debt growth under Bush?

2. Another way to put it . . . |
|
If time is money and money is time . . .
A million seconds from now: A little over eleven days.
A billion seconds from now: Around 2042.
A trillion seconds from now: Around 4020.
7 Trillion seconds from now, one for each dollar of debt: the year 14245.
Maybe we should pay attention?
This would make a great LTTE!!

3. You know what is really funny |
|
Right wingers used to spread this kinda stuff around to each other back when Clinton was in office.
You know, back when we had budget surpluses, and after Reagan sent us deep into debt.
How odd they they only care about it when a Dem is in office and we have surpluses.
