1. I do remember a local news show referring to "Big Labor"

Just the morning Weather/Traffic/News program. I wondered at the casual use of such a judgmental term. No "Bloated Corporations" were mentioned....

I've since switched to a marginally less biased show--from NBC to CBS. It's useful to know about incoming rain, temperature plunges or exploding petrochemical plants. There's really not time for editorializing on that sort of show.
