I look foward to the West Wing every week and instead I get damn Shrub! And just to think, the season was just heating up with the primaries and such!

Oh, by the way I am supporting former Vice President Hoynes on the WW for Barlett's successor!

Sanchez
I'm sure it'll be Sanchez. He'd be much more likely to pull the current WH staff over with him when he wins. Also... who better than Jimmy Smits to replace Bartlett? I'd bet big money on it.

:::now back to depressing real-world politics:::

Oh... and don't tell me what happened last week! I TIVO'd it and held off watching it until tonight. :)

5. Last week
Last week focused on the Iowa Caucuses. Vice President Russell (Gary Cole) is the first to give his speech at the Iowa Corn Growers' Expo. Matthew Santos (Jimmy Smits) and Arnold Vinick (Alan Alda) follow and the differences in these candidates become very clear. Josh (Bradley Whitford) struggles to understand how he can possibly guide Santos in this race. Santos and Vinick each struggle on their stances on ethanol. Santos gives in to Josh and goes pro-ethanol, which was against his convictions. However, Vinick goes against political advisors and goes out against ethanol, which does not go over well. The episode ends with Smits and Alda have a late night snack in a diner discussing their future. I believe they may do something like a Smits as President and Alda as VP next season. That is the feeling I got from what went on last week.

3. Why is Alan Alda
playing a republican? I hope the series continues and "former" President Bartlett is a regular in future shows.

4. Haha, I know.
The show has gotten better this year, even though I'm angry that they skipped over an entire year of the Bartlet Administration.

Anyway, here's my predictions for the '05 West Wing election: a bi-partisian ticket between Sanchez and Vinick. I too would rather have Hoynes though.

12. I'm even more pissed! I planned to watch OSU basketball on
Channel 10 in Columbus. They were supposedly the only local station not showing the chimp and showing basketball like they usually do for OSU. It was in the TV guide on Sunday. Then in the paper today, they backed out and are showing the chimp. I don't know why every local channel has to show this idiot's nonsense. I've been bitching and moaning about it all day. I'll just have to listen to the game on the internet.
