I'm very much in favor of a bottom up core values party. I don't see how we can win back much red and purple territory without the help of right leaning moderate Democrats. Dean is a great guy but he could never win an election in Texas or any other red state. You have to use what works and take what you can get. Change is gradual. This is not a pleasant thought.
