U.S. State Media
It's very disconcerting and sad to see that all of our major media are de facto state media.

1. Every single person on Nightline was spooging themselves over the Iraqi
woman with the ink on her finger. They were calling it a grand slam, a home run, something no one could deny was a great moment.

:puke:

It was fucking propganda!!!

WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!

2. I think the republicans have taken over nearly all the broadcast media
and are getting control over print media.

4. I am happy to report
that in the largest newspaper in south Mississippi, the letters to the editor against bush are large in quantity and quality on just about every issue. They are more than holding their own against those who blindly believe bush and that no one should criticize him. There is obviously alot of blue blood flowing in this red state.

6. Yes its time
for more people to wake up and realize what people like DU'ers realize:

- When the media doesn't hire analysts from both sides of an issue and instead hire's the ones who only support the government's agenda.

- When the media is "in bed" with the military and not also "in bed" with opposing activists or the victims of war.

- When the media overwhelmingly show glamorous sunset photos of our military and very little of the damage and faces of the victims of war.

- When the media names all of their coverage of a war after the same best propaganda name the military names its war operation.

- When the media refuse to investigate government corruption, complicity, and conflicts of interests.

- When the media shuns and chastises citizens who speak out against government corruption, complicity, conflicts of interests and anti-constitutional legislation.

You have to ask yourself. If this were State Media, how would it be any different?
