Branding the "blue finger"

I refused to watch the SOTU last night but was able to follow along with the running commentary on DU (btw: Thanks Skinner for keeping it orderly)....

When I heard about the "blue finger" crap that was going on last night I almost vomited...... :puke:

The interesting thing is that the Repubs think they have accomplished a coup with the "blue finger"...I think they have left themselves vulnerable to making the "blue finger" a symbol of Rebublican excess and shame.......

I think we, (Democrats) should be the ones to BRAND the Blue finger....attach the shame of the deaths in Iraq to it...attach the shame of the disregard for veterans benefits to it....attach the shame of the lies that got us into Iraq to it...

You guys are better at this than I am....join in...get some ideas flowing...not just about how to brand it but also how to make the "brand" nation -wide......
