An Afterthought On SOTD (State of The Disunion)
Early on in his "specch," * said he was cutting 150 programs.
Then, at the end, he invokes the name of FDR, who created many programs that helped this country out immeasurably.
How dare he! That was Rovian if you ask me, a shot across the bow that will haunt this fucking bastard and his followers to their graves.

1. I heard a caller on Ed Schultz say yesterday
that blivet** wants to be known as the Repug that finally killed FDR. After hearing last nights speech, I would have to agree with that callers sentiments.

2. Wall Street Journal compares the speech to the New Deal
on teh front page--almost dropped the paper and stomped on it (but it's technically not my paper so I didn't). They want to paint their programs as a historic step forward, and they hope nobody notices that it's really a step back to the 1890s.
