cross-post: who is the other "reporter" NOT-Gannon
i'm watching the cspan video of bush's press conference and i'm f*cking amazed that
<img src=""/>

RIGHT AFTER he takes TWO questions on Armstrong Williams and White House pay-for-ink controversy, that's when he decides to call on Gannon, with his famous "divorced from reality" question. he calls on him right after his bizarre statement about "trusting them to be objective," adding "Won't you?"

that's just an aside. i have a question.

who is this other cur who suggested criticism of the Iraqi War was tantamount to undermining the troops?

He calls on him right after Gannon's question it's at 39:01 on the video. here's his "question."

"Senator Ted Kennedy has recently refuted his characterization of Iraq as a, quote, quagmire, as in Vietnam and the questioning of Alberto Gonzales and Condi Rice in th Senate has largely been used by Democrats in the Senate to criticize your entire Iraq program, especially what you are trying to do "post war," I wonder if you have any response to those criticisms and what kind of effect do you think these statements have on the morale of our troops and ot the confidence of the Iraqi people..."
