5. He didn't have any last week.
I am glad he isn't supporting torture boy, but he shouldn't have voted for Rice. But I am not supposed to say anything. He gave a great speech at the convention.

15. No he didn't. There was our presidential nominee himself
spelling out the reasons for not supporting Rice, along with quite a formidable array of other Senators, and yet he voted 'yes'. In a safe Democratic state.
I don't get it.

7. He was on only briefly, but he's so
well-spoken; it's nice to hear. Obama votes 'no'. Schumer is up now, and he's also a 'no'. From what I've heard, the only dem I recall that will vote yes is Salazar (?) from Colorado.
And yes, I believe the vote will be held this afternoon. He'll get in, but not w/o people smearing him and getting that on the record.

10. Obama and any other Democrat who votes NO on Gonzales...
...should be praised for their vote. However...those who vote FOR him should be voted out of office in the next election and replaced with a Dem with a spinal column.

24. We can't vote 'em out, Q ..... we didn't vote 'em IN!!
Until that mess gets straightened out, we're dead in the water. The next election will see republicans taking the seats that Democrats fill now.

18. What did Cantwell have to say?
Murray and Cantwell *better* vote against him. (I'm from Washington). Sometimes they have spines, sometimes they disappoint.

21. Cantwell was brief but fantastic
Went after him on Enron and had a big bright sign propped up behind her spelling out: Enron Fraud.

Carl Levin up now. Good, as expected.

23. She didn't let you down at all
Right when she got up to the podium one of her aides put a blueboard behind her with huge letters spelling...ENRON. She was most excellent.
