I wanted to try it out and see if it even bothers repukes... well aparently not.
*talking about SH*
They went to the United Nations and to get approval it was agreed to retreat him back into his country but we had to agree not to invade (or go into his). That's probably the only way we could get a consensus internationally. So, I think that's part of the issue this time. It may be, we are saying we did it your consensus way and look what's happened. We've had 911, Saddam was able to continue paying people to blow themselves up, and nothing is better by it. He was letting the Al Queda fighters who were able to get out of Afghanistan come and get medical treatment in Iraq and stay. We could never get a consensus with that group because there are too many dictatorships and they will not agree on their own to let us do something. It could cause democracy and they would be out of power. I think that's the referral to Cheney having plans. He probably did have plans the first go round and didn't get to use them. But, actually we probably should have done this back then instead of trying to be so diplomatic that we agreed not to do what we should have. At that time, Saddam was invading other countries. Good reason to pull him out. That's why the food for oil program is a big deal, they were beginning to start lifting sanctions. Then he would have been back to his old tricks again. And there were people who were supposed to be watching him would have been selling stuff to him, they didn't care what he did as long as he was giving them money. It's really better to prevent it from happening with his track record. I wouldn't say that if there wasn't a proven pattern.
When she was talking about Cheney having plans... she is talking about PNAC. *geesh* I knew that they wouldn't care. Here I am upset about the whole thing and I knew the "Christian" repubs would have no problem with PNAC because at least America is number 1! She also said that she is so happy with the iraqi's voting.. that they have been brainwashed all their lives.
