is an ass and is the exact reason why the 2000 election was close enough to be stolen.

boggles my mind the same way as some Ethnic individuals can hate gays or vote to deny them basic rights...simply leaves me open-mouthed.

He needs to be run out of the party on a rail. And I don't want to hear any of this don't criticize Dems . This is appalling. And so is Salazar. That Kiss was the signal. He should be made to resign.

20. primary challenger?
Isn't Lieberman up next year? Maybe someone good will challange him in the primary. Unfortunately, unlike a successful primary challanger, Leiberman is probably a shoe-in for relection in Nov. Like him or not (and I don't) he still counts towards an eventual (I hope) D. majority.

29. I just spoke with the CT Democrats and was informed that
Lieberman polls higher in CT than Dodd! I was trying to get information on how to get another dem in the primary. They aren't too interested. I think we here in CT need to get together and start pushing one of our dems -- either Bill Curry or John Larson. Maybe we just need to start with phone calls.

24. Citicizing Liberman is NOT criticizing a dem.
Hillary is as far right as I can stomach. Lieberman is beyond the pale. For a man that constantly trumpets his own "values", it's amazing how morally bankrupt he is.

And he is no DEM. Repugs like Snowe and Whitman are often to the LEFT of Lieberman.

17. the sooner people realize a few things...
that the terms democrat and republican dont mean much anymore the better off we'll be.

lose the lables, stop listening to their speeches and instead watch their actions!

They could eat babies on the senate floor and they would still continue to serve out their terms.

they dont have to listen to us
they dont listen to us
the only 3 ways to remove a elected federal official is

1. they die
2. they resign
3. they are impeached. (the last time this happened to a senator was william blount from TN in 1799)

so you can see....they do what they want when they want how they want and it doesnt matter a damn what the people desire.

27. Mr. Lieberman is entitled to his opinion about the WoT
However, a vote for Gonzales is an endorsement of torture. This is beyond the pale.

Any Democrat who voted to confirm Gonzales should face a primary challenge. Lieberman, for his consistent and steadfast apologies for Bush's war crimes and crimes against humanity, deserves to be thumped and thumped hard.

The question, addressed to Connecticut DUers, is whether there is any Democrat in your state who will challenge this agent of neoconservatism who has infiltrated our ranks.

33. It's not just endorsing torture, but endorsing an imperial presidency.
Gonzalez would willfully allow b**sh to break international law as the traitor sees fit.

Lieberman (and Salazar) must be replaced by an actual Democrat. I will give support to this cause (and I live in SoCal).
