Campaign for America's Future Urges You to Attend Tampa Rally Tomorrow!
President Bush will visit Florida to outline his #1 domestic priority: privatizing Social Security. Using a phony crisis to legitimize his plan, Bush wants to funnel billions of public dollars through his Wall Street friends.

In reality, Social Security is the most successful anti-poverty program our nation has ever seen.

Campaign for America's Future has convened a massive coalition of state and national organizations to organize an event in Tampa to demonstrate our opposition to Social Security privatization and point out that privatization will result in a loss of $152,000 in guaranteed benefits for young Floridians now entering the workforce.

The event information is as follows:

Friday, February 4, 3:30 PM: Rally in Tampa
Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N. Ashley, between Zack St. & Polk St.

The park is on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa
Parking is available in the Poe Garage next to the park and street parking is also available.
Signs will be available for the public.

Contact Philip Compton, FCAN, 813-877-6712 (o) or 813-841-8601 (c) or Nora Pachnik at 323-854-0558.

President Bush will do everything he can to win the public's support for his risky privatization scheme. We need you to come to these rallies and tell President Bush that privatization is a bad idea and that you won't support his efforts to sell out our Social Security to Wall Street.

Sincerely,

Adam Luna, Policy Director
Campaign for America's Future

1. Is there some reason why this has to be during working hours?
Would be better when more people can go.

2. Yes, unfortunate, but I think it's meant to coincide with Bush's SS rally.
