"Dean was a fiscal conservative and supported gun rights as governor. But he came across in his presidential campaign as a dovish Northeastern liberal with a tendency to commit gaffes, such as his "scream" speech after losing the Iowa caucuses. Not the obvious choice for a party struggling to find a camera-ready leader, increase its appeal in Republican-leaning states and convince people it can keep them safe."

Nevermind that Bush's gaffes were actual outright lies in the debates, and the media never covered those.

Im so sick of this shit.

3. The Dem insiders are nervous about Dean
He represents real change with how the party raises and spends money. The consultants who have a lock on that money are scared shitless. And they should be.

4. They ain't the only ones scared
The GOP is scared white because we have a guy coming in who ain't afraid to call it like he sees it, already hates and mistrusts the media and will not fail to call them on their shit too. I'm a Deaniac and I STILL prefer him as a Presidential candidate, but I'm liking the fear I'm smelling from ALL corners.

6. Yep, it mostly about the money....
I've come to the conclusion that the public has been led to the position, by media, clergy, etc where they will swallow about anything the Rethug propaganda machine feeds them, so it really doesn't matter what "tactics" we adopt. I mean, it's really hard to imagine a worse presidency than the last four years, on EVERY issue, yet the sheeple re-elect the guy.....the outlook is bleak....

8. Maybe we should be shown the scream clip a few hundred more times
Hey, maybe he wouldn't have come across as "dovish" if our media actually reported his stances and didn't label anyone against the war a neo-hippie peacenik?
