Perle on Hardball last night
was jonesing for another war. Said he just didn't see a diplomatic solution possible for Iran. Wouldn't entertain the prospect of holding off a couple of years to allow the Iranians to make adjustments in their "culture".

Here we go again.

How do we get rid of these unelected parasites that are sucking the life out of our nation and the world? Where does the pressure need to be applied?

5. I say we give Perle an M16 and a kevlar vest and drop him in Tehran
If he wants to fight Iran so badly, let him fight. A more cowardly, warmongering chickenhawk draft-dodger never walked the earth.

6. Cool your jets on Iran! Perle has to fight the first war he started!
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 07:00 AM by lebkuchen
Drop him off in the middle of the Triangle of Death and let him hitch a ride home. Better yet, let him direct traffic on the ten mile stretch of road between Baghdad International and the Green Zone.

7. They don't have to finish the war they started.
All they need to do is shift the shells on the table one more time by convincing our enlightened public that this time the mission is truly accomplished and exit Iraq via Iran.

These are devious and evil people.

8. Skidmore, I saw this posted elsewhere on the board
It was buried w/in a post...glad I happened to open and read it. I can just see this frightening scenario taking place. Can you?

First part is re: how the US purposely got the public behind WWII via Pearl Harbor. The second part is how the US will again galvanize the public, into war w/Iran, and support a draft...Israel will bomb Iran and Iran will retaliate against the US. The possible outcome of all this is devastating.

I'm going to be hoarding euro after having read this.

11. Thanks for the link.
I don't put anything past this bunch of traitors to mankind. That we allow them to continue in positions of power and give them access to the nation's wealth and youth is a disgrace beyond belief. Where can pressure be applied to discredit them and their policy and influence? We don't have the leverage of the vote over them for another 4 years.

9. They Didn't Finish Whattisname...Afghanistan
1. Cheney, Rummy, Perle, Wolfie all sign off on PNAC, which "require(s) a Pearl Harbor-type event" to get the big ball rolling.

2. Bush 'happens' to load his cabinet with these very same men. No, really, he picked them, not the other way around.

3. A few months later, they get their Pearl Harbor-type event. Just by pure coincidence. No, really.

"Hmmmmmmm! Could it be...SATAN?"

13. According to the conservative group CATO Institute
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 07:43 AM by lebkuchen
the plan has been for Condi Rice to prepare the American public for a generational commitment to "democratize" the entire Middle East, costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.

You can see that plan being played out daily now. It's very clear.

There will absolutely be a draft, and I agree w/the writer's scenario that I'd posted above: Iran will be provoked into attacking the US and creating another "Pearl Harbor." Israel will be the decoy; it will attack Iran first. And why not. Israel had already bombed just beyond Damaskas' city limits 15 months ago.

"...the plan has been for Condi Rice to prepare the American public for a generational commitment to "democratize" the entire Middle East, costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars."

That should read TRILLIONS...

Iraq is already at 300 and going to be 500 Bil. at minimum by the time we are done. That is in a place of only 25 mil. ppl.

Iran has 70,000 ppl., has a real army, etc..

This is madness. And for what? The PNAC's sick and treasonous agenda.

25. CATO had also said during that interview
that when the bill comes due for our war w/Iraq, it's not going to be what the American people had bargained for. You don't say. The majority now think our war w/Iraq was a mistake.

But now that the WH is making overtures toward Iran, the combination of Condi's psychological prepping of Americans to attack Iran, plus the occurance of another "Pearl Harbor" attack, will be essential to galvanizing the public in support of Bush to levels seen post
9-11, in support of the draft, and another war, with Iran, and so forth.

He'll be debating Howard Dean.

I need to have a question prepared for him if he takes questions from the audience. I'd love suggestions.

drafted along with ours. I'd like to know how easily he comes to the decision to promote these wars he wants to whip up. Does he sleep peacefully knowing that decisions like this decimate millions of peoples lives? Also, how much blood money has he made from the wars? Will he or any other PNAC hawk open his investments to the public for review since he's pushing this policy in the public arena? The premise of the last question (someone could help with the wording) is that, if you are function in a defacto policy developing role, then your dealings should be public. Better yet, when does he think it's enough--killing, pillaging, whatever? What constitutes his definition of "THE END"? Is he willing to pushe for global nuclear conflagration? Will that be enough?

22. What I don't understand is
How in the hell can any country decide for any other what kind of government they can/will have.

What would happen if say China decided the United states would be a puppet of theirs and came over here to enforce what they wanted? Why not? They almost own us already.

I wonder how many ritewingnuts supporting war in Iraq would support this country being invaded to topple our government and replace it with a puppet of the invaders choice?

I really do not understand what's not to understand with this concept. But then again being a non-believer, I follow Christ's teachings. Unlike the good Christians that think that invading another nation, that is and was no threat to us, and killing the civilian population is a good thing.
