Interesting neocon site - answer to BuyBlue.org
Lots of great links to liberal stuff too. List of neocon talking points. Check it out.

"Most companies will promote, offer discounts or give prizes as an incentive for consumers to try a product. Liberals insult conservatives and expect them to buy their products. You tell me- what is wrong with this thinking?" Thomas N. George - Editor@boycottLiberalism.com

4. laughable, but not...It's McCarthyism, demonizing, commie-izing
and dangerous...

we know it - but maybe it hasn't sunk in ...

these people are destroying the Constitution, the Bill of Rights

freedom of speech, freedom of assembly.....

in essence, they're taking away everything we have grown up with and

believe in.

Talk on DU is cheap and easy...but it ain't gettin' us no place.

What are we going to do ACTIVELY as a GROUP with the power of numbers
to stop what they are doing????

Just asking.

5. The list is both pathetically short and vague.
Most of "liberal products" are TV series, 527s and countries ("France").

Either the Left isn't really that pervasive in big business, or the research is lazy. I think its a bit of both......

6. Idiots, they're working for us, bwahahahahahahah
They didn't read the following at buyblue.org

What if I want to Buy Red?

This too is a very common question. Usually it is in an inflammatory or threatening context, but they are always amusing reads. Our answer: more power to you! By doing so you are helping us to achieve our ultimate goal and you are helping to get the attention of corporations. Thank You!

However, the people that write us and tell us they are going to "buy red" don't understand the vision of the web site and don't understand that we control the definition of "buying red". Currently, our information is politically based, but when it becomes comprehensive I think these same people will find that "buying red" is an untenable position. "Buying red" will no longer mean supporting corporations who donated to the Republican party, it'll mean supporting corporations that pay sub-standard wages, have unethical business practices, destroy the environment to make a buck, and discriminate against minorities, women and homosexuals. In fact there is a chance you might even find corporations who contributed to Democrats declared "red" or at the very least borderline.

This isn't about politics, it is about positive social change and bringing about a sustainable, fair and profitable society.

7. Richard Gere in the "Hall of Shame"??????
He is just a wonderful, compassionate person. Plus he is gorgeous! :9 This just goes to show you what the Republicans are all about.

Plus they want their people to boycott HBO! Good luck!

(I made an extra effort to go to Home Depot instead of Lowes last week and it felt great!)

"The horrendous energy that we’re all feeling, and the possibility of turning it into more violence, and revenge, we can stop that. We can take that energy and turn it into something else. We can turn it into compassion, and to love, and to understanding."

"That’s apparently unpopular right now, but that’s alright."

Richard Gere addresses the crowd at concert for N.Y. firefighters and police

"Bush's plans for war are a bizarre bad dream. There doesn't appear to be any sort of basis for any of this. I have a feeling something hidden is at work here that will someday see the light of day."

Richard Gere criticises Bush in anti-war attack

The Power of Love Richard Gere Says Even Terrorists Deserve Compassion

"If you can see them as a relative who's dangerously sick and we have to give them medicine and the medicine is love and compassion. There's nothing better."

But, he said, we must also think about "the terrorists who are creating such horrible future lives for themselves because of the negativity of this karma. If you see it from a much wider point of view, we're all in this together. We're all intimately interconnected in all of these actions."

9. Whoops, you don't want to shop at Home Depot
BuyBlue.org's Position:

Home Depot currently has an 18% BuyBlue rating due to political contributions for the 2003-2004 election cycle. Home Depot's executives contributed solely and hevaily to Republican candidates and committees. Home Depot also has a political action committee which contributed $337,500 (24.00% D, 76.00% R). Home Depot's total contribution to politicians in the last election cycle was $448,500 with the vast majority of that going to Republican candidates.

16. The only problem with this list
is that there are no blue grocery or department stores in my area.
I guess I'll keep going to Kroger's since it's fairly low (12 percent) in its redness. I don't go to Wal-mart, anyway. I go to K-Mart or Target.

14. This is a parody site, right? It CAN'T be serious
AOL/Time Warner is on his list?

Interesting predictions he has though...

-Condoleeza Rice will one day become President
-Seattle will one day be the site of a major disaster
-Soon to be celebrity deaths / Elizabeth Taylor/ / Roger Ebert

-President Bush's Presidency will end in tragedy in the middle of his second term.
-Laura Bush will become a conservative icon. Mrs. Bush who started out not wanting to give speeches will run for office (possibly Senator from Texas) or take a leadership position in the Republican Party. She will never remarry.

Think we should contact the Secret Service? This guy is threatening the life of the president...

- Some professional wrestlers after leaving wrestling entertainment industry will enter the porn industry.

Wow, gutsy prediction there...

- The liberal radio network Air America will soon be known as "Dead" Air America

-The Liberal Radio Network will fail and liberals will blame it on going up against a more established conservative radio media. Of course this will be a lie- the truth is Fox News overcame an established CNN!

Air America is growing by leaps and bounds...

This guy's a dope.
