5. He's talking about two Americas now
Hammering the theme, in health care, in schools, in the economy.

Talking about his background and what he learned. Championing the working man now.

3. I'm anxious to hear him speak.
Thanks for the heads up on this. I've been out of town for a week and haven't been on DU. I've missed it!

4. They're calling it "Road to the White House 2008"?
I still think it's a bit early?

Is that what he's doing? Campaigning? I know he's got a new job at the University.

8. Not only that,
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 08:50 PM by d_b
but he seems furiously indignant about the injustice(s) brought on by Rethugs and Captain dipshit.

11. I'll second that!
He was great tonight! Edwards is my kind of guy with my kind of ideas/ideals and beliefs.

He should have been ours...

Did anybody else catch what he said about how it is an outrage in America that some people don't know their vote counted?

12. No one should have a reason to doubt . . .
He said voters shouldn't have a reason to doubt that their vote was counted and that we needed to spend what was necessary to make sure that didn't happen again.

14. It was an impassioned speech.
Right on target. It was great to hear him speaking about what Democrats DO believe in.

Edwards had more of an "edge" to his words tonight, and I liked it! :)
