Has anyone mentioned Pelosi's performance this morning?

I was appalled. I watched MTP and Stephanopolis and since I'm foggy in the am I can't remember which one she appeared.

She was being questioned on SS and what the Dem proposal was to deal with the problem. She kept evading the question and didn't answer it. I was furious. What's so wrong with saying that we need to repeal Bush's tax cut for the rich? The top 1%. That's 40% of the solution. In addition what's wrong with saying that we need to eliminate the cap on the contribution into the fund? The cap is $90 thousand, so why have a cap at all? That should take care of the whole problem.

It sure makes Dems look weak when our leaders don't have the guts to offer the solution needed.

She couldn't answer what Dems are going to do about Bush's proposals at a Press Conference reported live on C-Span last week, either.

I don't know what her problem is. She just doesn't come off with the confidence she should have. I wish she would step down. Much as she's personally likeable, she just isn't what we need right now. Just my 2 cents.

2. George Stephanopoulos had Nancy on - she is not strong but this was

one of her better performances. Confused/unforcused/ - but better.

Kennedy on MTP blew Tim out of the room when he tried to do the Soc Sec plan Bush check sheet.
