New MO Gov. (R) Wants to end Program 4 DISABLED KIDS!
Parents fearing loss of First Steps

Gov. Blunt plans to cut the state-run program for children with disabilities.

Chris Guyer's foster kids will be fine.
Both will be finished with First Steps, a state-run program for young children with disabilities, by the time proposed budget cuts would take effect.
But the program has done such wonders for 4-year-old Devin and 2-year-old Ashley that Guyer can't imagine it not being there for other children.

First Steps is slated for the chopping block in the state budget Gov. Matt Blunt has proposed.
The program provides therapy for children ages 3 and younger who have Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or other developmental disabilities.

Is that what Jesus would do?

2. And when all of these "social conservatives"
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 12:40 AM by independentchristian
as they are so proud to be called, i.e., they think "conservatism" is a good badge to wear although they don't have a clue about what conservatism has been about from da one, but when they start talking about "I didn't vote for him to cut a program for disabled kids," tell them, yes you did, that's exactly why you voted for him. Stop voting on one issue and then you might not have to try and explain yourself. x(

3. What's the matter with Kansas? The same thing that's wrong with Missouri
Fundies.

People who think that it's a GOOD idea to tax adult entertainment venues like video stores, and strip clubs, out of business while cutting funding for disabled children.

CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME FOR CHRIST'S SAKES!!!

But the Republican Party is protecting us from "Dem Gays" and letting us "Keep our Guns" and they ain't going to "Ban the Bible" or let those "Mooslims" attack us, or talk bad about us Christians" because "We're Saved" and "They're not" and "Those libruls hate us" because "We believe in Jesus" and "They don't" and "O'Reilly is right, it's those damn ACLU faggots that hate Bush" and...and...and...

I think I'll puke all this Super Bowl Crown Royal up because I live in this sorry ass-backward state.

WHAT A CHRISTIAN THING TO DO.

PUNISH THE WEAKEST WHO DEPEND ON US FOR HELP.

FUCK YOU BLUNT!

I've already signed the petition.

4. Early childhood programs for disabled children can make
a huge difference in their future abilities. What he plans to do is just plain old-fashioned wrong.

WWJD? It seems that republicans don't have a clue about what Jesus would do about a lot of things.

6. The TheoCons have found it necessary to invent another Jesus.
It would be the decent thing to do to rename their spawn of Hell, but they just keep calling him Jesus.

I don't understand it. I just have to hope there's a Hell.
