Clinton's Defense Secretary vs. Bush's Defense Secretary
I was just listening to the responses Donald Rumsfeld gave on This Week with George Stephfanopols. It would be a good idea if someone from the Democratic Party would juxtapose the answers given to question by the Clinton Defense Secretary against the answers given by Bush Defense Secretary. It is just foolish that the Defense Secretary does not seem to know what is going on with the military. I do not think the Clinton Defense Secretary answered most of the question he was asked about the military with I do not know or I am not aware of that.

1. Clinton's first SecDef was Les Aspin
Aspin resigned after the Somalia "Blackhawk Down" incident in which 18 GIs died. He resigned because... investigation indicated that the US forces lacked adequate armored vehicles. He took personal responsibility for that failure and ended his career.

How "quaint"! How... Democratic!
