What no one is talking about re: Social Security privatization
I have not seen this mentioned ANYWHERE.

If a handful of mutual funds get to handle the private accounts, won't they also get to vote the shares of stock in those funds for shareholder resolutions?

Today, mutual fund companies have proxy committees that determine how the shares in the funds will be voted for each company's resolutions. How much more power do we want to give mutual funds for voting on shareholder resolutions, especially in a time when it looks like there is an active effort to take voting power away from CALPERS?
