3. To say nothing of the
...black ops budget, which is huge in peaceful years, and that we never really get to see or deconstruct.

Ah, yes, it's FUCK THE NEXT GENERATION time at the good ole WH!

4. War of Terror
Eighty billion in supplemental budget, just to kill more people who don't agree with BushCo.

That makes the total for defense spending almost 490 billion, not 419 billion thats being asked for in the budget.

5. Oh, and they are no longer cutting the deficit in half...
...now they word it as cut the deficit in half as a percentage of the total economy.

So if the deficit stays the same and the economy grows between now and 2009, PRESTO! they fucked up and accomplished something. :eyes:

7. Just watched Crossfire - the idiot repug pundit kept arguing
that Bush's budget only cuts 1% overall. What he wouldn't discuss is that most domestic programs that help the poor are being cut a lot more than that, it just averages out to 1%. Cutting police and firemen, healthcared, education, farm subsidies, etc. The Dem did get in a good upper cut to Falwell (today's right wing nut warming the chair) when he ask the hate filled Rev if he thought Jesus would approve of hurting the least among us. Of course the answer is that God/Jesus would want us to make sure we are making good financial decisions - or something like that.

The audacity of these people still continues to amaze me in their willingness to lie and cheat just to kept that "moran" on office. The repug that was defending the budget is from Indiana and while he wouldn't come right out and say he would support cuts in farm subsidies he kept saying he was willing to work with Bush to get spending under control. Hope all the Hoosiers that voted for this team of monkeys feel good about themselves right now.

how people like Falwell and Dobson ruin the Christian religion down the mud to outside viewers because of people like them and their followers. The person should've asked Falwell if Jesus would've cut programs from the poor to keep them warm in the cold season's and cool in the warmer months. :grr:

10. Another thing people miss is that this is not actually lowering the debt
At best, we're merely plummeting at a slightly slower rate.

Of course, the appropriations for Iraq and other goodies haven't even been added, so it may well be as bad or worse as ever.

11. I believe the deficit is being intentionally hidden with "psychic" BS.
The neoCONspirators are attaching the deficit to a "psychic" prediction of the future GDP. It was bad enough they were manipulating numbers with respect to the GDP. Now, they are operating as "fortune-tellers" about a total unknown,...and doing a "we are reducting the deficit in half" by doing a gamble on the future.

BUT,...those with whom I've asked about casting an "educated" guess of the future GDP have "predicted" precisely the opposite of the neoCONspirators.

Bottom line: the GDP is a factual guideline based upon REAL numbers,...NORMALLY.

Whereas, this neoCONspirator administration is engaging in full-metal-FRAUD by taking an unknown future GDP in order to misrepresent REALITY!!!

14. For comparison, here's Bill Clinton's budgets...
Edited on Tue Feb-08-05 07:37 PM by ticapnews
(in $millions)

Year Receipts Outlays Surplus/deficit

1993	1,154,401	1,409,489	-255,087
1994	1,258,627	1,461,877	-203,250
1995	1,351,830	1,515,802	-163,972
1996	1,453,062	1,560,535	-107,473
1997	1,579,292	1,601,250	-21,958
1998	1,721,798	1,652,585	69,213
1999	1,827,454	1,701,891	125,563
2000	2,025,218	1,788,773	236,445
2001	1,991,194	1,863,770	127,424

Clinton's budget increased $450Bln (32%) over eight years.

Bush's budget will have increased over $700Bln (38%) in just
five years. And that doesn't include all the hidden expenses
that aren't included in the "official" budget.

The difference, of course, is that Clinton raised taxes on the
wealthy (and had a booming economy) and was able to almost
double the amount of money the government was taking in so
that for four years we actually ran a surplus. Notice that
receipts in 2001 dropped though, with Shrub's retroactive tax
cut - although I really appreciated the $300 check (/sarcasm)

This budget is lean though - just in all the wrong places.

15. And, IMAGINE, that the bushneoCONspirator team is PRETENDING,...
,...that their FANTASTIC DEFICIT will be reduced by a "magical" (and completely unfounded) comparison to a "BET" on the GDP *LOL*!!!

While they are planning to F-U-C-K a populace who they are supposed to serve,...they have the freakin' GULL to offer "magic" to justify their rape.

THEY ARE EVIL, PERIOD.
