May the good doctor cure the ills of the Democratic Party.
Since it seems to be nearly a done deal that Howard Dean will become DNC chair, I feel the need to make the above statement. I really caught onto Dean because I felt hopeless. Bush was pushing his agenda and the Democrats were letting him. Dean told the Democrats that they needed to be Democrats again. He put issues on the table that many people have ignored. He wants to make the party go back to the glory days when we had representation nationally because then, we were not afraid to be Democrats. There have been many forces that worked against Dean in his presidential bid and I hope that they don't go against him now. Dean has shown an ability to mobilize groups and people. Those skills should carry over well into DNC chair. Godspeed Dr. Dean.

1. There was a great quote
by NH Chair Kathy Sullivan the other day about Dean. She said: "He gave the Democratic Party its swagger back. He reminded them that they should not act like a beaten dog."

I can't think of any better quality in a Party Chairman.

2. Yes, lets support Dean
Once in I hope he gets rid of the likes of Donna Brazile and her group. Make the Democratic party strong again. Her comments about not liking his go forth and conquer attitude sickened me. I am tired of a party that lays in the corner curled up in the fetal position crying for the republicans to stop.

3. The spirit of the Vermonter prevails
Congradulations Governor, your fight on this one just may have saved the democratic party. Now you're in the position to wake up the masses, and I have the good feeling that you wont be supporting Hillary's bid. Galvinize the Dems, progressives and even greens and we can end this republican onslaught.

4. I wish him well too. He's a power, whether you like him or not and he is
unlikely to roll over and beg like the rest seem to do. He had a team that was amazing at grassroots campaigning.

How does he protect himself against the vicious right wingers?
