Who thinks the Repubs will support Bush's budget cuts ??

I suppose many of those cuts will be in red states? I doubt that Bush will have support from those Congressmen representing those states. But, as usual, he will blame his failing on someone else - this time, the Congress.

So it has finally come to this. Either gut all the social programs or live with the results of Bush's radical tax cuts and spending binges. Let them sell that to their supporters...

Many will support him, no doubt.

I haven't seen or heard a lot of the specifics, but there are some very powerful groups that will be affected by some of the cuts I've heard. Cutting the farm subsidies, increasing what vets have to pay for medical services, support for medicare services, just to name a few. Many people may have supported the King's election, but when his decisions hurt them, that support will be gone!

5. The GOT (Grand Old Torturers) will support

spending cuts that support social services; everything from the police to schools. On the other hand, they will INCREASE spending on ideological initiatives and crony payola.
