1. Iraq election "Bounce" . It will dissipate as the insurgent attacks
continue - some of Johnson's highest Vietnam ratings were just before the Tet offensive.

3. That just shows how out of touch people are with reality..........
they're full of "cautious optimism"? Every time bush does anything people are optimistic, and are always let down soon afterward by his stupid schemes. I foresee that next year at this time bush will be enjoying his LOWEST popularity ever, and that he'll never recover until his second (shudder) term is over.

4. Gallup skews their polls heavily towards GOP. CNN is a Bush-shill network.
This is to help push Social Security for Bush.

The media also lied EN MASSE about the Iraqi vote turnout, while the corrected tallies that showed about HALF the reported turnout received NO discussion on the news networks.

They also failed to explain that Bush was backed into a corner on the election by Ayatollah Sistani, and that Iraq will now be under an Islamic THEOCRACY.
