This is a riot. I'm hooked. I work all days now so I can't catch Al Franken but this will do.

2. I'm going to get really attacked for this, but....
I just don't like Malloys show. The times I have listened to it, it seems I'm listening to a lot of name-calling and overdramatic disgust at anything, and I mean anything, the right says or does, without a lot of factual information, constructive ideas, or certainly objective discourse.
Its like listening to a left wing propaganda show that rivals the right wing's Savage nation filth. It may be a nice mood-lifter for those on the left to listen to, but I find myself wondering why anyone who is not on the left (mainstream, or to the right) would have a positive change of heart or opinion.

Just explaining how I feel... now flame away. :')

7. Fear not the flaming. . .
and the first good thing about Malloy is that he would defend your right to critique him because he's really, really a liberal.

I have narrowed my listening time to Malloy 1st, Randi Rhodes 2nd.

By the end of a work day, Malloy is my safety valve, venting the pent up anger I have after getting all the Bush propaganda everywhere.

I have many an out-loud guffaw as I hear his reactions and mimicking of GWB; he's a talented actor. . .and his word choices are super. . .Bush Crime Family Syndicate. . .Bunnypants or Giggling Killer for GWB.

As for documented info or objective discourse, he's up front about his show not being an education. . .he's just holding a meeting of like-minded folk.

Also, his conversational skill with callers is great. . .responds after real listening. . .and if a freeper calls he speaks up to them. . .tells them off.

All in all, Malloy helps me not give up as I feel like a stranger in a strange Bush-land.

8. Sort of a "red meat" show?
You just said the magic words, btw. I have a chance to possibly hear Mike Malloy at some point using my iTunes, so I will judge for myself, but I absolutely can't stand Michael Savage. The man is a freak. If Malloy is a lefty Michael Savage I won't be tuning in for long.

So far I've heard Randi and Ed Schultz.

I like Randi but could do without the cheezy "boinnnng" sound effects. I prefer Ed so far.

9. I have to agree with you...
I sometimes hear him in my car and he always seems to be negative. He does do some creative stuff however. The remix of "Lies" with clips of Shrub, Rice, Rummy and other Administration officials selling this war to the American people was very effective.

The problem is, no one in "the middle" who might "see the light" and realize the sheer volume of bu775#!t being shoveled by this administration will never hear it because they're not going to listen to his vitriol.

Even I end up turning it off after a while.

6. I like both Mike and Franken
Mike is good to go to for rantings and everything. I found him and AAR a couple months ago and have been hooked ever since. I can't miss a show. I'm a little late cause of the Daily show but Malloy is great. I also like Franken but his show isn't the same as Malloy and Rhandi Rhodes (she's great too).
