Hillary Wrote Me - About Voting Irregularities
Edited on Wed Feb-09-05 11:59 AM by Jack_Dawson
She's sponsoring the "Count Every Vote Act" and would like your support.

Americans deserve to know that their votes will count - and will be counted. Please visit http://www.friendsofhillary.com/CountEveryVote/ and sign the petition.

1. Me too.
I signed and sent it, but I am sure it will take more than this to precipitate wholesale change...

4. She could have sponsored a certain proposal in Jan 6, 2005.
That would have done a lot to make sure that every vote would count.

Heck, if congressional dems had shown some leadership, they could have had this kind legislation by now.

I will sign this petition because it's an important issue, but personally I think this is to little, to late.

6. Weakness was shown by every Democratic Senator

who turned their backs on the people. Boxer was the only Senator who showed spine.

Better a weak than cowardly.

What a fucking disappointment THAT dude turned out to be. I thought he was the real deal? Colour me naive.

9. I can't support any Senator who didn't vote with Boxer;
And that goes for Biden, Byrd and Kennedy to. I like all three, but enough is enough. The Democratic Party needs to wean itself away from the corporate teat and stand for the values that made them great.

It's sad. But we need a new batch of Dems in congress: A group that will fight tooth-and-nail for Democracy and not make excuses.

8. Got to get the bandwagon in gear
to get those supporter rolls beefed up, now that someone else already took the lone stand and the heat is off. After all, it could be an issue that she may personally be concerned about in the future, as opposed to, say, some Mother's son killed in Iraq for the sham she backed.
