DNC Card

so i just got it in the mail, guess you can say i'm a card carrying member now =]

anyhow...the letter asked for further contributions to the DNC, which i know they'll get from me eventually (call me a sucker-democrat), but i stopped and thought for a second...and i decided to only send them a check when howard dean is in the chairman job, i sent them an email too telling them as much.

Here in Tennessee on our registration forms we don't have to post what our party affiliation is so I'm just wondering. :)

Now I need Bush-voting Republicans to send letters to with the little kicking Donkey logo on it.

I've gotten a few. I can't figure out if it's a request to renew or donate money. I was a 2004 member for donating. Now I have a card, but I don't think it's activated until I cough up for this year. But when I called the number (after the Carville letter just before the inaugaral), the operator taking info couldn't tell me if I was renewing or donating. So I stopped. I'm not waiting for Dean. I'm waiting for my taxes. And I want it clarified what I'm doing, donating or rejoining.

I've never been a DNC member before. The prospect makes me kind of excited, like I'm part of something important. Am I nuts?

7. My grandparents (God bless their souls) were members of the DNC

all their lives. They gave to the DNC before paying their bills. They use to received Ignural Tickets every year we were in the White House. It's very exciting. You're not nuts.
