All those folks who can't wait for the BIG R and are so sure they are going to Holygoldville when they die... well, if they're so certain heaven's waiting, why are they all so paranoid about dying, anyway? They're paranoid about terrorism, about being attacked by the menace of the week, got to arm themselves to the teeth and attack anyone who threatens them. Seems to me true people of faith wouldn't be so insanely obsessed about dying, much less be so damned afraid of getting killed they'd prefer to blow the rest of the world to smithereens for their own safety.

...already at risk of falling apart due to the influence of liberals, left thinking intellectuals, labor unions and atheists which was facilitating moral decay throughout the nation. Red America also has believed that the dominant race in the country was being compromised by allowing mixed neighborhoods, integrated schools and inter-breeding. Red Americans also believed that the national religion in America has always been protestant fundamentalist Christianity and again, by banning religion and pray from public schools and allowing non-Christian religions to flourish, this too was causing the nation to fall apart spiritually. In their minds they are putting the real America back together by dismantling the damage which has already occurred. That's my understanding.
