Not just lies but LIES WITH MAJOR BAD CONSEQUENCES!

When Clinton lied about his trist with Monica, there were no major consequences to SS, no soldiers and civilian died as a consequence. But the lies told by this administration and their MSM support group cost the lives of thousands and threatens the lives of millions concerning SS. That's the point the Dems have to make loud and clear.

Why should anyone trust or believe this administration about anything? They have not earned the right to be trusted or respected and yet the polls on the SS issue seem to indicate that Bush has the people favoring his plan and believing that SS is in major trouble.

Well, someone please tell these idiots that recinding and keeping the tax cuts for the wealthy from being made permanent and SS has no problem.

Well, that's the question, isn't it? I was on another board and there was a discussion about invading Iraq. Some repukes were actually defending the idea, saying that this time we can be certain that the country has nukes. We are now officially the World's Police, and as long as the average repuke isn't in any way affected I guess they really don't care.

2. The real moral question is should we be teaching our children to kill

in the name of "democracy?" What are we telling our children?

Blame bad parenting, blame our culture, blame the movies... whatever you want. The fact is that our children are immune to the horror of bloodshed and loss of life. All they need now is to be presented with a "just" cause and they're ready to waste whoever needs to be wasted. One of my greatest concerns has been that * has come at a time when America can most easily be manipulated. We are poorly educated, intellectually lazy, unable to think critically and have enjoyed many decades of relative prosperity and psychic comfort. We simply can't imagine the consequences of our actions. Yeah, I'm really worried about America. Fortunately I have Canadian citizenship that I'm willing to use any time.
