Wealthy do not support the troops or the war.

The rich will not give up their tax cuts to support the war or to support out troops.

They must know something we don't.

The budget wants to take money from the poor, because the rich know that the war is wrong, and they are not patriotic enough to support the troops who are serving our country.

I say that if the rich, who wouldn't suffer the slightest inconvenience if they lost their tax cuts, will not support the war or support our troops, and won't even support the President enough to fund his budget, it is stupid to put such irresponsible and unpopular burdens on the backs of the poor, who cannot afford them.

This is a capitalist society and the rich are the role models we are supposed to emulate. So let's emulate them. If they won't make any sacrifices for their country, neither should we.

1. Agreed. But who is going to convince the Flag Waving poor?
An awful lot of poor people must have voted for Bush**. They happily send their children off to die in his wars because they believe they are serving their "country". They don't understand that their children are dying for rich people to get richer. They actually believe it when people tell them their children died in Iraq for "freedom". They have been totally indoctrinated. They are born and raised to never question authority.

What is the way to get through to them?

2. They're so damned dumb

that if the Jesus they've accepted into their hearts as their personal savior, came down and personally hit them over the head and told them to wise up, they'd call him unpatriotic.

Jesus told them that as they did to the least among us, they did to Him, and they are voting for a guy who treats the least among us, and therefore our Savior Himself, like shit.

I'm not a violent person, and I am therefore totally incapable of getting the mule's attention, so to speak.

3. The wealthy are worse off under Bush - only Wall St. corporations do well.
Bush is bad for 100% of individual citizens. The only 'people' who gain are the well connected corporations.

Bush is killing the environment, shredding the constitution, stealing elections and bribing the media will destroy our country...if not all of humanity.

Bush is worst president ever....and maybe even the most dangerous political leader in the history of the world.
